On the National Register of Historic Places, this magnificent 1851 Greek Revival style townhouse is the official St. Mary Parish Museum. Grevemberg House Museum is a key historical site in the City of Franklin, a community founded in 1808 on Bayou Teche. Informative, guides bring this home, it’s history and it’s furnishings to life. Antique lovers will be intigued by distinctive pieces from the 1800ʻs, including a grand mahogany dining table, an imposing C. Lee bed, documented wallpapers, antique toys and Civil War artifacts.
